Golden Milk with a Twist!

This warm and frothy golden milk is such a perfect recipe for CBD oil. CBD oil is already known to be healing and added to these anti-inflammatory spices only increases its benefits. Turmeric, ginger, and cinnamon are warm spices that have incredible benefits. Not only are they anti-inflammatory but they are also shown to prevent many diseases, may improve brain function, and have antiviral properties.

Pepper may seem like an odd ingredient, but it helps the body absorb the curcumin found in turmeric, ensuring you get all the health benefits. Another thing that is good to eat with turmeric is fat. Both CBD oil and turmeric are better absorbed when consumed with fat, again making this a perfect recipe loaded with health benefits.

I like to enjoy golden milk on a cold day, or when I’m feeling a little down. I also make a cup when I’m not feeling great or when my MS symptoms get the best of me. Being anti-inflammatory, this recipe is great for someone with MS. The spices help with inflammation, and the CBD oil helps with sleep and pain.

CBD Golden Milk

This silky, smooth golden milk is laced with turmeric, cinnamon and ginger throughout frothy coconut and almond milk. Turmeric helps enhance the healing benefits of CBD oil, making this a perfect recipe.

Equipment:

Milk Frother or Whisk

Ingredients:

1 1/2 cups full-fat coconut milk

½ cup almond milk

1 tbsp honey

1 ½ tsp turmeric

pinch black pepper

½ tsp ground ginger

½ tsp ground cinnamon

1-2mL Calluna Labs Full Spectrum 1000mg CBD Oil

Instructions:

Combine all ingredients besides CBD oil in a small pot.

Heat the mixture over medium-low heat and combine well with a milk frother or whisk.

Once mixture begins to simmer, remove from heat, and let cool for a few minutes before adding CBD oil. Be sure not only add CBD oil once removed from heat. Whisk again to combine oil evenly.
